- Babies born to malnourished mothers faced severe complications: 90 per cent were born prematurely and 84 per cent had low birth weight, the analysis found, causing what MSF called 'devastating consequences' for maternal and newborn health.
- Despite a ceasefire in place since October 2025 after two years of conflict, MSF warned the situation remains 'extremely fragile' and called on Israeli authorities to allow immediate, unhindered entry of supplies into the Gaza Strip.
