Delaware DNREC has announced it will hold a community meeting about new hunting regulations related to chronic wasting disease on Sept. 16. The meeting will be in the auditorium of Delaware Technical Community College Owens Campus in Georgetown at 6:30 p.m.

DNREC will hold a community meeting regarding Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) and the temporary regulations recently put in place affecting the 2026-27 deer hunting season Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Delaware Technical Community College Owens Campus in Georgetown. A virtual option is also available and public comment can be made live either in person or via Microsoft Teams.
