KOSOVO MITROVICA - The President of the Serbian List (SL), Zlatan Elek, stated today that the decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC) to refuse certification of the Serbian List in the local elections on October 12th is illegal, unlawful and discriminatory, and stressed that the Serbian List will take all necessary steps to ensure the certification of its candidates.
Both Serbian political parties, which yesterday the Central Election Commission did not certify for participation in the local elections in Kosovo scheduled for October 12 - submitted
The recommendation for the certification of the Serbian List received only two votes "for", two "against" and seven abstentions at the CEC session.
