DJI’s Osmo Nano Is A Detachable Tiny Action Camera, Just Like Insta360’s Go Ultra
DJI's Osmo Nano offers 4K 60fps video, modular design, and a multifunctional dock, priced competitively starting at $299 to challenge established action camera rivals.
On September 23, DJI unveiled the Osmo Nano in Shenzhen, China, a modular 4K action camera that will not be officially available in the U.S. at launch, DJI said.
Amid competition, DJI designed the Osmo Nano to revisit modularity and target content creators with a wearable dual-sided magnetic design for hands-free mounting.
The Osmo Nano's hardware pairs a 52g main camera module with a 72g Multifunctional Vision Dock featuring a 1.96-inch OLED touchscreen, a 1/1.3-inch sensor, 35MP stills, and 4K/60fps plus 4K/120fps slow motion recording.
European buyers see pricing start at 279 for the Osmo Nano 64GB Standard Combo and 309 for the 128GB kit, while DJI lists a US price of $309 and sells through Amazon; Malaysia and Philippines rollout continues.
Battery trade-offs are notable: DJI rates 90 minutes FHD, 60 minutes 4K/60fps, and 200 minutes with dock, but Osmo Nano camera-alone real-world runtimes are shorter, while Insta360’s app excels in AI editing.
