A symposium to consider the role that Okinawa can play as a base for peace, "Commemorating 80 Years Since the End of the War: East Asia Dialogue and Exchange Project to Make Okinawa a Hub for Peace" (sponsored by the Executive Committee), will be held at the Prefectural Youth Hall in Kume, Naha City from 1pm on the 22nd. Participation is free. (Social Affairs Department, Nishihira Mitsuha) This will be the third time the event has been held.
