According to a report today (25th) from the Hong Kong stock trading platform "Huashang", Chinese airline stocks bucked the trend and fell. As of press time, China Eastern Airlines fell by more than 7%, Air China fell by more than 3%, and China Southern Airlines fell by nearly 2%.
Planned China-Japan flight cancellations up about 56% from previous month
(ECNS) -- The number of planned flight cancellations on routes from China to Japan between Nov. 24 and Dec. 31 has risen by about 56 percent compared with the same period last month, CCTV News reported on Monday.
The diplomatic tensions between China and Japan have reached a new level. Beijing has warned its citizens not to travel to Japan in response to a controversial statement by the Japanese Prime Minister to support Taiwan.
