Anthropic and Wall Street investors are backing engineers who will build Claude-powered tools for banks, hospitals and manufacturers, with $1.5 billion committed.
- On Monday, Anthropic announced a $1.5 billion venture with Goldman Sachs and Blackstone to deploy artificial intelligence into mid-sized companies' operations through the Claude Partner Network.
- Gary McConnell, CEO of VirtuIT, called the move a "huge opportunity" to address AI under-adoption in the midmarket, where companies often lack in-house resources for large deployments.
