Around noon, a liter of diesel fuel at German gas stations cost an average of 2.502 euros, marking the first time the average price of diesel has exceeded 2.50 euros per liter, the German automobile association ADAC said. Diesel has risen by almost 70 cents per liter since the end of March, while gasoline has risen by 41 cents.
Even stronger price jump for fuel: Nine cents more costs the diesel after the usual 12 o'clock adjustment.
