Diane Keaton's personal collection hits auction block, including iconic 'Annie Hall' pieces
The sale includes more than 50 lots, with outfits from her Oscar-winning role, photos by Annie Leibovitz and artwork valued up to $60,000.
On Monday, June 8, auction house Bonhams will offer more than 50 lots from the collection of late Oscar-winning actress Diane Keaton, titled 'Diane Keaton: Architecture of an Icon.'
Keaton, who died last October at age 79, gained fame for her personal style, including the iconic ensemble from the 1977 movie 'Annie Hall' and Academy Awards outfits.
The collection's highest-valued item is a 5-foot painting by Deborah Roberts, estimated between $40,000 and $60,000, alongside David Wojnarowicz's 'Untitled ,' expected to fetch up to $35,000.
Beyond the live sale, 500 additional items are available in New York and Los Angeles auctions, which Keaton's sister, Dorrie Hall, stated reflect 'not only a lifetime of looking but a lifetime of truly seeing.'
Collectors can also bid on items like a necktie resembling one from 'Annie Hall,' listed between $300 and $500, and a framed Annie Leibovitz photograph featuring Abraham Lincoln's artifacts, valued up to $5,000.
