Microsoft is set to invest more than $10 billion in Middle Eastern countries, focusing on cloud infrastructure and AI, as part of its regional strategy amidst the Iran war tensions.
Microsoft's goal is to expand artificial intelligence and data storage and processing services. The initial focus of the plan is Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
With this investment Microsoft will strengthen relations with its local partnerships and continue the work it has been doing with governments to support the populations of countries during challenging periods.
