Descartes Systems Group Acquires Extensiv For $120M USD
The $120 million deal adds AI-enabled warehouse management and omnichannel fulfillment tools as Descartes deepens its reach in 3PL and ecommerce services.
On Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, Descartes Systems Group acquired Extensiv, a California-based provider of warehouse management and fulfillment software, for $120 million USD.
Descartes added AI-enabled 3PL warehouse management and omnichannel fulfillment capabilities to the Global Logistics Network, extending warehouse and inventory management reach.
Mikel Richardson, general manager of ecommerce operations at Descartes, said Extensiv adds "more participants, more contextually rich operational data and fulfillment intelligence to the Descartes Global Logistics Network."
The combination enables logistics services providers to "expand their offerings and scale operations with a single technology provider versus a patchwork of vendors," said Scott Sangster, general manager of logistics services providers at Descartes.
Following a deal last month for Tai Software at about US$100 million, Descartes continues investing in solutions for the logistics services provider community.
