Diesel Price jumps More than Six Cents as Nova Scotia Energy Board Invokes Interrupter Clause
The price for diesel took a big jump overnight. The Nova Scotia Energy Board invoked the Interrupter Clause to raise the price of diesel by 6.1 cents a litre. The price for a litre of diesel ranges from $2.44.5 to $2.47.5 in the eastern mainland and Port Hawkesbury. For the rest of Cape Breton, it’s $2.45.3 to $2.48.3. The price of gasoline is unchanged.
Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Yuliot Tanjung said Pertamax prices could potentially be adjusted in line with global oil price developments, although no increase will be expected until September 2026.
