Colombian group Grupo Gilinski and GeoPark have signed an agreement with Venezuela’s state oil company, PDVSA, to jointly develop the country’s Bare oil field. The 25-year deal is part of a series of moves by international oil companies to expand operations in Venezuela, but is not linked to the Caracas-Washington agreement for US access to other fields.
