The owner of the torso of the burnt out 34 high-rise building in Zlín, the Cream Group company, has halted demolition work on the still undemolished remnant of the ruin. It intends to preserve at least a small part of the northeast corner of the structure. The news was reported in a press release by Marcel Schmidt, Marketing and Communications Director of Cream Group.
Cream wants to preserve part of the burned-out 34th building in the former Bata site in Zlín. It has therefore suspended the main demolition work on the torso and is examining the technical possibilities with structural engineers and other experts to safely separate this part from the torso and preserve it.
