An Interstate Coordination meeting was held on Thursday at the Delhi Police Headquarters ahead of the BRICS Summit scheduled from September 11 to 13 strengthen cooperation among various Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) to address issues related to ensuring incident-free BRICS Summit.
Delhi Police holds inter-state meeting ahead of BRICS Summit
Ahead of the BRICS Summit scheduled in New Delhi from September 11 to 13, Delhi Police held an inter-state coordination meeting with senior officers from Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chandigarh to strengthen security coordination, intelligence sharing, border checks and traffic management.
Delhi Police Commissioner said that there will be no compromise on security arrangements during the summit, but full care should also be taken to ensure that common people face minimum inconvenience.
