The Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal A P Singh, has expressed concern over the Indian Air Force's depleting fighter jet squadron strength due to inordinate delays in Tejas combat aircraft induction. He highlighted the need for 36-40 fighter jets annually and hopes for progress with Tejas Mark-1A and Rafale MRFA deals.
