Dehnicke Earns AFCA & D2CCA All-American First Team Honors
DULUTH, Minn.- UMD tight end Luke Dehnicke can now call himself an All-American. On Wednesday, Dehnicke achieved that honor from both the AFCA and the D2CCA as he was on the first team for both. Dehnicke had a breakout campaign for the Bulldogs this past year as he hauled in 14 touchdowns and had 1,074 receiving yards. Former Minnesota Duluth tight end Luke Dehnicke was named a Division II First Team All-American by the Commissioners Association (D2CCA) and American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) on Wednesday.
