Defense clears sea mines in Vlissingen

The sea mines that were found in the inner harbour of Vlissingen before the summer holidays will be cleared this week by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service of the Ministry of Defence (EODD). The municipality of Zeeland and the disposal service expect that the clearance of the three German sea mines may take several days. There are no safety risks and no consequences for residents and surrounding companies, reports Vlissingen.
