- On Monday, the Syrian government and Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces ordered their fighters to cease fire after clashes in Aleppo killed at least three people.
- Under the March 10 agreement, clashes occurred ahead of a deadline to integrate the SDF into the Syrian administration, with Fidan telling a press conference that 'it is important that the SDF be integrated into the Syrian administration through dialogue and reconciliation, in a transparent manner, and that it no longer acts as an obstacle to Syria's territorial integrity and long-term stability.'
- The SDF said a woman was killed and 17 civilians wounded by rocket and tank fire in Sheikh Maqsud and Ashrafieh neighbourhoods, while state news agency SANA reported two civilians killed and eight wounded and Syria's interior ministry accused Kurdish forces of attacking joint checkpoints.
- Turkish ministers Hakan Fidan, Yasar Guler and Ibrahim Kalin held talks in Damascus with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, while Asaad al-Shaibani said discussions focused on combating terrorism and preventing Islamic State resurgence.
- Last week Damascus proposed splitting Kurdish-led forces into three divisions and brigades including a women's brigade, deploying them under SDF commanders despite Turkey's security concerns.
