A 26-year-old Dutch woman died last Friday in Austria after a fall in the mountains. During the descent of the Patteriol, a mountain over 3,000 meters high in Tyrol, she slipped and plunged several meters down. Resuscitation in the trauma helicopter was unsuccessful.

A group of four people attempted to descend the Croda Alta on Wednesday. A 58-year-old woman was struck by a rock and died shortly afterwards.
