De La Salle captured its 11th North Coast Section golf championship, and seventh in Division I, on Monday as the Spartans finished with a team score of 358 to defeat runner-up Dougherty Valley by 14 strokes at Rancho Solano in Fairfield. Josh Kim’s 68 led the way for De La Salle. Barron Beinke chipped in with a 70 and Drue Sanchez and Tavin McKinley each shot 73. The title was the Spartans’ fifth in a row over the past seven years.
