Dayforce Introduces Agentic Strategic Workforce Planning to Help Leaders Design the Workforce of the Future
The conversational agent models skills, capacity and costs across people and AI agents, with availability expected in Q1 2027.
- On Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026, Dayforce, Inc. unveiled its Agentic HCM Platform at the Dayforce Discover flagship conference, integrating native AI across HR, pay, and planning functions to automate workflows and help organizations complete work.
- New agentic tools, including Dayforce Bots and Dayforce Build, allow users to create interactive applications and automate recurring tasks using plain language. These features enable teams to collaborate while maintaining governance over data and approvals.
- Deepening its partner ecosystem, Dayforce expanded its collaboration with Microsoft to connect Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Microsoft Teams, while Deloitte Consulting LLP is building SOX 404 payroll control experiences directly into the platform.
- Dayforce also launched Dayforce Deploy, an AI-powered approach to implementation that leverages configuration standards from past projects to reduce manual effort. This service helps customers identify issues before go-live, creating a more predictable path to value.
- Additional agentic capabilities are expected to roll out through 2027, focusing on actionable workflows that integrate workforce data with business operations. The company aims to move beyond simple chat-based AI toward systems that actively complete work.
