The first teaser for Richard Linklater’s new film “Nouvelle Vague” has been released, following its premiere in Cannes on Saturday, May 17. The film is a tribute to the iconic French-Swiss director Jean-Luc Godard. In the short clip, Guillaume Marbeck plays the young Godard during the filming of the legendary film “Breathless” on the streets of Paris.

Richard Linklater’s masterful new film, which recreates the filming of Jean-Luc Godard’s ‘At the End of the Escape’ film, is presented in the Official Competition Section of the Cannes Festival.
