Friday marked the beginning of the first skicross races, during which Marielle Berger Sabbatel failed at the foot of the podium in the final. But Quentin Fillon Maillet continued the Blues harvest in biathlon by gleaning bronze on the start mass. In the evening, French bobouses Margot Boch and Carla Sénéchal finished 17th after two rounds, while Cloé Ollivier and Aurélie Lévêque did not reach the final on 1500m in short track.

After a Thursday marked by the two tricolor medallists in alpine skiing, Emily Harrop and Thibault Anselmet, Friday's day marks the beginning of the first skicross events. In the morning, four Bleues will try to shine, while the final is set on the blows of 1:10pm. On Friday, acrobatic skiers will get into the action, biathletes will compete in the mass start, speed skater Nikola Zdráhalová will compete in the 1500 m track, and the same distance awaits short track skater Petra Vaňková.
