David Goss: Memories of 'Storm Window Saturday'

The column this month has looked at two distinctive November happenings. Firstly the procurement of Scout staves, and, secondly, the watchful formation of river ice of yesteryear. Both are not a huge part of our activities these days. Today, we have a third being the placing of storm windows and the delivery of winter coal that my dad called “Storm Window Saturday.”
