A 25-year-old woman accused of killing her mother at her home in El Monte Sunday evening has been formally charged with her murder. A woman was charged Tuesday with fatally stabbing her mother in her El Monte home over the weekend. In addition to murder, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office also charged 25-year-old Kimberly Monique Gonzalez with assault with a deadly weapon, according to a statement from the DA’s Office.
