Data shows COVID-19 wave may be receding in Ventura County

Three weeks ago, 18% of Ventura County residents who received PCR tests over seven days came up positive. That rate fell to about 10% in data posted by the state on Friday. Wastewater analysis also suggest COVID levels are plateauing. Reports of outbreaks still emerge but in lesser numbers, said Dr. Robert Levin, county health officer.
