At the Carinthian SPÖ state party conference, Daniel Fellner was elected as the new state party chairman. Fellner received 481 of the 499 valid votes cast, resulting in a result of 96.39 percent. Opposing candidate Wolfgang Rami received 3.61 percent, with 13 invalid votes. Prior to this, Peter Kaiser bid farewell to the delegates after 15 years as party leader.

Daniel Fellner, who is intrepidly also relying on weird ideas, is today elected as the successor of Peter Kaiser as the SPÖ boss. It is a first step to the top of the country.
