Novým apoštolským nunciem v Česku se stal arcibiskup Eugene Martin Nugent, který se narodil v Irsku. Po jmenování papežem Lvem XIV. jeho jméno v poledne oznámilo tiskové středisko Vatikánu, sdělila mluvčí České biskupské konference Monika Klimentová.
