- The woman and her children were taken to the hospital after one of the children fainted. The migrants' boat reportedly sank, and the remaining 14 migrants were taken to a reception center in Nicosia.
- This rescue follows two other recent incidents where police rescued a total of 97 Syrian migrants aboard two boats.
