On Friday, an unauthorized rave party was gathering thousands of people in the Lot. According to the prefecture, the police were conducting "hundreds of checks" on the outskirts of the site. Firefighters were present in the compound in the evening from Friday to Saturday, but not the security forces who were a few kilometres away and carried out road checks.

Several thousand people are gathered in the Lot for a rave party, a rally banned by the authorities. The police have been deployed since Thursday 8 May, in order to block access to the site.
