Customs intercepts three cargo containers at South China port, seizes 58 million yuan worth of smuggled cigarettes and tobacco, arrests one male.

Customs in Hong Kong crack down on two cases of smuggling tobacco products by sea cargo on June 24, June 26, and July 3 at Tung Chung River Wharf. Seized approximately 5,200 kilograms suspected of being untaxed tobacco products and about 510,000 pieces of suspected contraband cigarettes, with an estimated market value of about HK$58 million and a taxable value of about HK$38 million.
