According to the reference course announced by the National Bank of Romania (BNR), and the price of the gram of gold fell compared to the previous meeting.
Euro went down on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 5,3467 lei, and the US dollar fell to 4,7745 lei. The Swiss franc, the pound sterling and the Hungarian forint also depreciated from Friday's meeting, October 23.
The official exchange rate reference, announced on Monday by BNR, reached 5.3467 for a euro, from 5.3495 lei, recorded on Friday.
