There will be changes to the Reykjavík Marathon route and the Culture Night evening program next year. For example, the marathon's entertainment section will be moved from Þingholtan to the Old West Town, and the Culture Night evening program will end an hour earlier.
It is proposed that changes will be made to the running routes of the Reykjavik Marathon, in the recommendations of the working group of the City of Reykjavik. Suggestions also turn to Cultural Night and, among other things, proposed that concerts with Arnarhól end an hour earlier, at 10 p.m. rather than 23. The changes include taking into account the safety of residents and visitors.
