More than eight dozen human bodies used for occult rituals have been found by Thai police in recent days following raids on three centers of a Buddhist sect, according to local media reports. According to the AP, thousands of adherents of the religious group believed that by praying to human remains, they gained clairvoyance.

A further 32 bodies were found after landing at the Sriwilai Temple site. Phichit ordered a curfew linked to the Pankhorchaaiboon monastery, 41 bodies were found earlier.
