Cuba lived one of its most tense nights in the last five years. Dozens of inhabitants of Morón, in the province of Ciego de Ávila, took to the streets on Friday night 13 March to demand freedom and the end of the dictatorship. Protesters marched on foot and on motorcycles, beating casseroles and shouting slogans against the regime. Many wore their faces covered to avoid reprisals.
