Moscow. Russia is preparing to send a second oil tanker to Cuba, reported yesterday the Russian Energy Minister, Serguei Tsiviliov, without yet specifying when the tanker will sail or how much crude it will take.
Facing the blockade imposed by the United States, the ship "Anatoly Kolodkin" arrived on Monday in Cuba, with 730,000 barrels of Russian crude oil on board. But this cargo, which still needs to be refined, will not be able to alleviate the island under embargo from the United States on a lasting basis.
Havana, March 31 (ACN) Cuba’s Foreign Ministry extended its gratitude to the Russian people and government for their sustainable oil shipment to the island on Tuesday.
