- A walk-on turned scholarship athlete, Offerdahl, carried 71 times for 340 yards and a four-yard touchdown under head coach Deion Sanders.
- With Offerdahl gone, Colorado Buffaloes now rely on seniors Simeon Price and DeKalon Taylor, junior Dallan Hayden, and sophomore Micah Welch, leaving four scholarship running backs.
- Despite stepping away, Offerdahl will remain on scholarship this year, according to Yahoo Sports, as he plans to apply to dental school.
