Czech Television has commissioned a crisis budget analysis for the upcoming funding change. It shows that it can save a maximum of 350 million next year. The government proposal, however, envisages a budget reduction of 1.3 billion.

Czech Television CEO Hynek Chudárek presented the first savings plan to the members of the Czech Television Council on Wednesday, which responds to the government's plans regarding its financing. In the first phase, Czech Television is working to save 350 million crowns next year. However, the proposal of the Andrej Babiš government envisages significantly reduced revenues for Czech Television.
