Former Bulgarian footballer and great coach Plamen Markov celebrates his 69th birthday today. Born in Sevlievo, his football career began in the local Rakovski, and in 1975 he moved to CSKA, where in 10 years he won the title five times and the Bulgarian Cup three times. He took part in the legendary clashes against Real Sociedad, Nottingham Forest and Liverpool.
CSKA management congratulated club legend Plamen Markov. Today, the former technician turns 69.
