Crushers loses series finale at Windy City

The Lake Erie Crushers concluded their longest trip of the season with a 3-1 loss at Windy City on Aug. 21. Lake Erie (50-35) went 4-5 on the trip that spanned more than 2,000 miles in a week-and-a-half. Despite the loss, the Crushers’ magic number to clinch a playoff spot remained at two.
