Creative Play launches new inclusive playground range co-designed with SEN school
Creative Play’s new range includes nine towers and 35 components with wheelchair ramps and sensory features designed for children with diverse abilities.
- Creative Play has launched the Play For All inclusive playground range, developed through a two-year collaboration with Prospect House Primary Specialist Support School, Manchester.
- The project began when Creative Play was invited to reimagine an underused outdoor area and worked closely with Prospect House through detailed consultations during an 18-month period.
- Features such as wheelchair-accessible ramps and varied play routes are integrated with the Play For All collection, which includes nine inclusive play towers, five sensory-focused items and 35 additional components.
- At Prospect House the scheme resulted in two connected playground spaces, delivered over a three-week summer installation period so both were ready when pupils returned.
- Creative Play, a UK leader since 1991, has delivered over 14,000 play areas and says the Play For All range can be configured for many schools and community settings.
