Cowboys face Colts without 3 starters because of injuries, including Pickens
Dallas will turn to Ryan Flournoy and Jordan Hudson after three injured starters were deactivated before Sunday’s game, the team said.
- On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys ruled wide receiver George Pickens inactive for their Week 9 game against the Indianapolis Colts due to shoulder and hamstring injuries.
- Despite trade speculation, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the Dallas Cowboys have held firm against moving Pickens, who has dealt with persistent shoulder and hamstring issues since October.
- Saturday's roster moves included elevating rookie wide receiver Jordan Hudson and tight end James Mitchell from the practice squad, signaling uncertainty regarding Pickens and Jake Ferguson's availability.
- With Pickens sidelined, Ryan Flournoy steps into the No. 2 wide receiver role opposite CeeDee Lamb, gaining a significant opportunity against the Colts.
- Sitting at 3-5, the Dallas Cowboys face a critical matchup in Indianapolis before the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday, as a loss could force organizational recalibration.
