Justices give authorities 14 days to secure families’ return and demand answers on why identified suspects, vehicles, and repeated attacks produced so little criminal enforcement.
Residents of the village near Kosrae were forced to leave their homes following violence and bullying by settlers - who later took over the place. The High Court of Justice demanded a reason why the security forces would not act to return them.
