Corte Madera approves new housing fees to support fire agency

Corte Madera has approved an impact fee on new housing development to support fire protection services as the population increases. The Town Council approved the ordinance Tuesday at the request of Central Marin Fire Authority. The fire authority does not have the jurisdiction to impose its own impact fees.
