Two people from Loris killed in major car accident on Hwy 22

A four vehicle collision involving a dump truck on Highway 22 killed two people from Loris on Wednesday, Aug. 21. The accident occurred between Highway 90 and Highway 905 at approximately 4:26 p.m. The two victims were Earl Burnette, 49, and Flora Beltran-Gomez, 35, both of Loris, and injured a third.
