The Swiss Federal Office of Culture honours the work of the writer Corinne Desarzens with the highest award for literature in Switzerland. In addition, a special prize for translation and seven Swiss literary prizes are awarded in 2026.

The French-Swiss writer and journalist Corinne Desarzens receives the Swiss Grand Prize for Literature 2026, announced on Thursday the Federal Office of Culture (OFC). Seven other writers are awarded a Swiss prize for literature, including two Romands.

The Federal Office for Culture (BAK) awards the prize for a complete work. The prize is endowed with CHF 40'000.
