A man convicted in the stabbing death of a Coosa County woman more than three decades ago has died in prison.James Clark Jr., 55, was convicted of murder in the 1990 slaying of Melissa Buckner during a robbery. He was serving a life sentence at William Donaldson Correctional Facility in western Jefferson County.
