Convicted felon arrested for first-degree attempted homicide, following alleged incident where Trinidad man survives being shot in head   - The Chronicle

On the late night of Aug. 17, at around 10 p.m., John Paul Romero, 57, also known as “Psycho Micheal,” was arrested for first-degree attempted murder, after an officer with the Trinidad Police Department discovered a man with bandages who claimed to have been stuck by a bullet in the forehead, while Romero was firing a 22. caliber pistol at him earlier that evening, leading to an investigation and subsequent arrest.
