COLOMBO (News 1st) – The final stage of construction of the Polpitiya-Hambantota transmission line for 220 KW will begin on Wednesday (24). The construction process was delayed due to a land dispute, the Ceylon Electricity Board said. The 150km transmission line will ensure an uninterrupted supply of power for the Southern province.
